A Fresh Fall Look at the Green Building

Lauren and Robert wanted their special celebration to be filled with inviting style and a sweet and romantic aesthetic. Pink was a strong element throughout the entire design, adding a fresh look to this fall wedding. From the bridesmaids’ dresses, romantic flowers, even a classic convertible that drove them to their reception, pink reigned supreme and we loved it!

Rebecca Shepherd’s florals paired the soft pinks, fresh neutrals and deep purples perfectly for a look full of depth and romance. Patina Rental’s Color Condition finished off the look with its added dramatic flair. And with this fresh take on autumn hues, fall has never looked so good!

Real Food Catering provided refreshing drinks and delicious food for a casual cocktail hour in the gorgeous courtyard of The Green Building. The night continued under elegant chandeliers and the dynamic Color Condition for dinner and dancing into the night.

Delicious food, romantic flowers, and a love worthy of a lifetime of celebration made for a fabulous day! Lauren and Rob, thank you for including us in your special moment! And a BIG thanks to Sasithon Photography of the Wedding Artist Collective for capturing all the sweet details!

A Creative Welcome at the Whitney

We love a curated wedding weekend, from start to finish. That’s why we are so eager to share this gorgeous welcome dinner at the Whitney Museum. It was the perfect and most creative way to kickstart T+S’ romantic wedding weekend. Redfield Photography joined us for the day in order to capture each artistic and loving moment.

Floor to ceiling windows in the space offered sweeping views of the city and let in the most magical light. White tables and clear chairs provided a neutral palette for the artwork and florals to shine. Each table was named for a famous artist with floral arrangements to complement their work. Designs by Ahn took it to the next level with the rich textures and fun color blocking. Such a creative way to reflect the contemporary and artistic space. This gorgeous dinner illustrated the couple’s love and started the weekend off right.

Sweetness of Love Imagined at the Gramercy Park Hotel

Some of our favorite moments on our couples’ big days are those before the vows even happen. When all is calm and full of anticipation… before the guests arrive, before the dancing and delicious food. It’s an opportunity for us to take in the space and design and see our couple’s love imagined.

It is in these quiet moments where you can feel the anticipation and love. It’s tangible in the air and sweet smell of flowers. It’s in these moments that the details sing.

The happy couples elegant wedding at the Gramercy Park Hotel was no different. It was a sophisticated setting with unparalleled views of the city. The intimate ceremony and dinner took place on the lush terrace and Putnam + Putnam added to the magic with their magnificent arrangements. With a mostly white flower palette, pops of pink added a touch of sweetness. Tapered candles provided a soft ambiance that paired perfectly with the clean paper suite and menus, done by Bella Figura. Choimatic added a tailored soundtrack for the evening, and Madison Lee’s Cakes provided a delicious cake and fabulously fun desserts. Nothing is better than a root beer float bar with cotton candy takeaways. And Julian Ribinik Photography was there to capture it all. Full of romance and sweet touches, it was a candlelit evening not to be forgotten.

So here are those ever loved details… the moments before that are full of anticipation and romance, sweetness and excitement. We hope you enjoy as much as we did!

Elegance and Heart at 501 Union

We love creating some wedding magic at 501 Union, so we were thrilled to be part of Jane and Moo’s big day! The couple wanted a night of clean and modern elegance, while keeping the ambiance warm and inviting. 501 Union provides the perfect setting for such a day, and we are so excited to be sharing all the details, captured by the talented Chaz Cruz.

Guests were welcomed through a door decorated with wild greenery and well-placed linens, setting the tone upon first glance for the elegance and character of the day. Within the garden area of 501 Union dramatic linen hung from the ceiling, sweeping through the space and intermingling with the garland and bistro lights. Clear ceremony chairs allowed the visual stimulation of the design, and the love of the couple, to shine throughout the ceremony.

The escort card table was covered in flowers of all textures and colors, while the dining tables contrasted with minimal and subtle green garland. The design, brought to life by Lindsay Rae Design, had the perfect balance of greenery and elegant linen drapery to create an impactful visual statement.

With the most amazing food by Real Food, we were in foodie heaven. The passed apps kept us begging for more, and a family style meal kept the evening feeling intimate and casual. The cake was simple white, with gorgeous floral embellishment from Nine Cakes. And if the cake wasn’t delicious enough, dessert included passed donut bites and churros with dipping sauce. Too much deliciousness!

Cigars were passed and the music kept us all dancing into the night. Jane and Moo are a beautiful couple and their day was special and fabulously curated in every way!

Colorful Sophistication at The Wythe

We loved working with Xeni and Glenn to create a magical day that was colorful, modern and fun! Xeni’s short dress fit her flirty and fun personality perfectly and Glenn looked so dapper in his suit. The couple started their day wandering the streets of Brooklyn taking gorgeous portraits with their fabulous photographer, Amber Gress.

An intimate ceremony held in the Wythe Hotel’s courtyard then kicked off the special day for the couple and their guests. Delicious food and classic cocktails added a fun twist of sophistication. The romantic atmosphere continued into the reception space within the Wythe, with florals and lounge furniture adding colorful notes. Hues of red and pink in the florals, created by the fabulous Tin Can Studios, paired with the teal and other tones of the lounge, creating a bold contrast. There was a colorful and wild spirit about it all that paired nicely with the clean and sophisticated feel of the day.

It was a wonderful day full of fun from start to finish. From the first look to the last dance, the couple expressed themselves and their love with such heart! We were so lucky to be part of the pair’s special day!

Picturesque Perfection in the Hudson Valley

We love when we get the opportunity to work outside of the city, to escape the hustle and bustle and take a breath of fresh air. For Ashleigh and Steve’s big day we traveled to the idyllic Hudson Valley to celebrate at Blue Hill at Stone Barns. And while the distance was not far, it was the perfect escape.

Playing with the botanic feel of the Hudson Valley, a fern motif carried from invite to escort cards. We loved the deep colors of blue and green in the invites, with pops of copper to add elegance. Fourteen-Forty’s creation was perfect to set the tone of Ashleigh and Steve’s big day from the very beginning.

Ashleigh’s lace, off-the-shoulder gown created a bridal look that epitomized soft romance and old-world charm. The couple were all smiles during their first-look photos amidst the fields and bucolic scenery. The two then wed under a lush floral chuppah at the heart of the courtyard, surrounded by their closest friends and family. Pure perfection.

As if the gorgeous grounds weren’t enough, further lushness was created by Saipua, both indoors and out. Greenery, flowers, vines and branches filled the space in a gorgeous way. Patina Rentals provided even more character to the event with their unique vintage lounge decor. The guests were enticed with elegant cuisine during the delicious dinner sourced from the fields of the surrounding Hudson Valley. A dinner at Blue Hill is every foodie’s dream, and they did not disappoint. Lulu Cakes provided decadent desserts and a most beautiful cake to cap off the evening.

The magical experience that was Ashleigh and Steve’s wedding day was both intimate and elegant. They were seeking a day of blissful elegance amidst a background of breathtaking beauty, and we’d say it was that and so much more. Thanks for including us in the magic!

Beauty in the Unexpected at Liberty Warehouse

We love creating unexpected and exciting new styles for our weddings, and couldn’t have been happier with the way Alex and Gaby’s came to life. The couple wanted a style that was visually interesting and incredibly lush, yet modern and clean at the same time. In terms of atmosphere, they were looking for a black tie affair with a casual and relaxed vibe. Looking sharp and feeling at home with their family and friends, Alex and Gaby’s big day was the perfect balance between the unexpected, while remaining classic and sophisticated.

This clean design of the space allowed the florals and natural details to shine, and shine they did. Putnam & Putnam created gorgeous vignettes of cacti and desert accents that paired uniquely with the lush florals. It was an unexpected pairing that we fell in love with. Inspired by a particularly gorgeous set of tiles, Julia Bez brought our stationary designs to life with hand-done calligraphy for the menus and escort cards, thrilling the couple and guests alike. The pairing of these distinct design elements resulted in a one-of-a-kind design scheme that we were thrilled about. A big thanks to photographer, Tim Ryan Smith for capturing it all so well!

Alex and his groomsmen looked sharp in black tuxedos, while Gaby’s girls let their spirits shine in bright colors and styles suited for each lady. And Gaby was stunning in a seamless gown with a fantastic silhouette. Lace details on her gorgeous veil added a touch of romance to her overall look. Just perfect!

The couple danced the night away and kept the party going with their fabulously fun after party at the Red Hook Winery. We loved the romantic touches and moments that were uniquely them as a couple and were thrilled to see the unique design come together so well.

Old World Meets Modern Romance

Dennis and David’s big day was characterized by details that were impactful and moments that were memorable. What more can you ask for? They wanted a celebration to wow their guests and be true to their styles. In order to deliver, we sought out spaces that had both character and impact to create a truly incredible experience.

The ceremony was held at the modern and breathtaking Canoe Studios, an all white venue that allowed the couple, and the impeccable views, to stand out. The whole experience was authentic and spotlighted the couple’s beautiful love and beautiful promises to each other.

As a contrast, their reception venue was rooted in New York’s rich history. Held in the soaring halls of The High Line Hotel, their design was filled with the romantic touches of iconic architecture, stainless windows, and dramatic lighting. The florals that decorated the space were rich and abundant, with wild, overflowing blooms and dramatic centerpieces. Candles created an ambiance that was warm and inviting, while adding to the old world romance of the space.

The food was delicious and the cocktails flowed. And their cake, magnificently realized by Nine Cakes, was incredibly sophisticated with its metallic flourishes and rich texture. This 7-tiered beauty was unlike anything we have ever seen. And delicious as well!

Dennis and David’s gorgeous day was the best of both worlds. Refined and modern, timeless and romantic. The design was authentic and seamless and the whole day suited the couple so perfectly. We were so thankful to have shared in this day, and thankful to Samm Blake who captured all the gorgeous moments beautifully!

A Refined Love at 501 Union

Every wedding is a celebration of the love and life between two people. And every love is as unique and genuine as the couple themselves. Andrew and Jonathan’s big day was no different. It was a day of devotion. Of beauty and style, drama and sophistication. Stolen kisses and wild dance moves. Good drinks, good people, great fun!

501 Union’s swanky and sophisticated ambiance was the perfect setting for Andrew and Jonathan’s stylish wedding. And Katie Osgood Photography was there to capture all the fabulous details.

Mimosa Floral killed it with the flowers with a dramatic ceremony backdrop and lush table centerpieces. Paired with dark foliage, long blooms cascaded and provided rich coloring and vibrancy to the design. Their distinctive style was showcased with their unique take on florals.

Even the menu and place settings were thoughtfully curated, taking on a more modern aesthetic to make their mark on the evening. Personalized name plates for each guest added a sophisticated personal touch. With all of these details, paired with the dark furnishings and dramatic lighting, the design was implemented beautifully!

Their marble and copper styled wedding cake, the beautiful creation of Madison Lee's Cakes, was a showstopper. Truly a work of art. And their other desserts were some of NYC’s finest. Including cookies from Levain Bakery, pudding from Magnolia Bakery, and Doughnut Plant donuts. Some of our favorite things!

Despite the gray skies, their love shone brightly! And we were thrilled to be a part of it all.

Botanic Beauty at The Wythe

Maggie and Paul’s big day was full of classic romantic touches and beautiful ambiance. Every detail was curated and thoughtful for absolute perfection. In a beautiful location with some fabulous vendor collaborations, including Mel Barlow doing photography, the couple couldn’t go wrong. They started their day at the Wythe Hotel, getting ready in a beautiful suite and sharing their first look overlooking the city. It doesn’t get more romantic than that!

The Wythe’s gorgeous spaces added to the curated feel of the couple’s day. Inside was romantic and warm and outside was eclectic and fun. The perfect Brooklyn feel. Poppies and Posies re-imagined the space with gorgeous greenery and romantic buds throughout. The guests were welcomed with lush foliage that mirrored the ceremonial arch. A stunning backdrop for those romantic vows. At the tables, cascading eucalyptus and giant blooms rich in color, added elegance. Inside, the bar was transformed with more abundant greens and vibrant blooms. The perfect touch of organic romance to help set the tone.

Patina Rentals helped set the stage with luxury lounges both inside and out. In the outdoor cocktail space, a brilliant blue sofa and eclectic chairs added flair. The inside lounge was far more neutral, which was perfect against the brick walls and added to the romantic ambiance of the evening.

It was a fabulously fun and gorgeous evening in the heart of Brooklyn. What better way to celebrate Maggie and Paul’s beautiful love!

Flashy and Fun at Brooklyn Bridge Park

Candice + Edouard are a one of a kind couple with a one of a kind style. From our very first meeting, we knew that their big day would be full of flair and special surprises. On the big day, Edouard rocked his look with a bright blue suit and flashy details, such as his music-inspired cuff-links and rockin’ pinky ring. A yellow bow-tie completed the fun look and color-scheme. Candice looked timeless with classic jewelry and a divine dress. A yellow bouquet and fabulous blue heels topped off the look. And the great Amber Gress was there to capture all the colorful and bright style!

After their intimate ceremony at Pebble Beach in Brooklyn Bridge Park, the bride surprised her new husband with a vintage Ford truck to travel to the reception site in style. We imagine nothing felt better than riding away as newlyweds, headed to an evening of romance and celebration with friends and family.

Once all the guests arrived at the Greenpoint Loft, they were welcomed to a space full of industrial charm and colorful accents that were true to Candice + Edouard’s taste. Paper planes with various country’s flags served as a fun escort card set up. On the tables, yellow florals by Metropolitan Plant Exchange were both sweet and vibrant and set the tone for the celebratory mood. And Fig + Pig killed it with a fabulous meat and cheese station to start, and a delicious family-style meal. The couple even had a personal cigar roller on-site to provide a special and unique gift to their guests. Such a fun idea!

Music was a huge part of the evening. As a musician himself, the groom jumped in front of the mic throughout the night, and truly made a lasting impression when he sang and played the father - daughter dance song. It was a beautiful moment that no one is soon to forget.

More than anything, Candice + Edouard wanted their guests to feel at home and welcome to enjoy and celebrate. Delicious food, flowing cocktails and special touches made that possible. What a fabulous night it was!

Whimsical Elegance at Liberty Warehouse

There’s nothing better than the combination of fresh florals and greens, dramatic and elegant wedding details and good food and friends, all within a romantic and memorable location. That being said, we loved every moment of Samantha and Dani’s whimsical and stylish Liberty Warehouse wedding. Kate Ignatowski Photography caught all the memories, from the timeless invites and fashion, the elegant and chic reception details, and the whimsical and fun-loving moments.

Samantha’s classic style was timeless and absolutely flawless. We loved her simple, open-backed gown. Dani had a personalized navy suit that perfected his day-of style. And together, they looked amazing!

After their heartfelt ceremony overlooking the water, a sunset cocktail hour was just what the day needed. And as the the sun was setting behind Lady Liberty, The Love Revival’s marching band surprised the guests and enthusiastically led the way into the reception space with drums and horns in a New Orleans style parade! The perfect way to continue the celebration into the gorgeous reception space.

The day was filled with fun-loving moments that reflected the love and spirit of the couple. They even celebrated and raised awareness for Red Nose Day, a Comic Relief fundraiser to aid children around the world. Every guest received their very own nose to participate in the good-natured fun. Mimosa Floral Design killed it with a fresh and organic look. Classic white florals and bright greens adorned the chuppah and lined the reception tables. Each table had just the right amount of whimsy and elegance to reflect the couple’s beautiful style.

The day was bright and the couple full of love and cheer. A night of dancing under Rent Patina’s Color Condition made it even more exciting. Samantha and Dani’s generous hearts and whimsical spirits left us laughing and celebrating long after their “I do’s”. It was a day of love to remember!

Sun-kissed in the Hamptons

We are beyond excited that the bitter cold days of winter are past us. And during those gray and gloomy days, it’s incredible images of love and warmer wedding romance that keep us going. Jena and Tommy’s fabulous Hamptons wedding was one such gorgeous day that will warm our hearts and stay in our memories for many winters to come.

A trip to the Hamptons is never without joy and sunshine, and Jena and Tommy’s wedding in South Hampton exceeded every idyllic expectation. Les Loups Photography caught every sun-kissed memory in the most gorgeous of settings.

We love private estate weddings, it makes every last detail even more charming and personal. They even included their dog in the festivities, and you know we love that! Surfboards served as guest books and beach pebbles were used with the escort cards. All these details simply added to the natural, fun-loving feel of the day. With a first look among the roses and a sweet ceremony right on the water, no one could ask for a better day!

Their chuppah was both sophisticated and beautiful, and their flowers, crafted by Peartree, added to the organic and sweet vibe of the day. Fig + Pig brought their A-game with their food, which was as beautiful as it was tasty. Family and friends danced the night away under the bistro lights of the tent and oversized lanterns adorned the yarn to provide even more atmosphere and whimsy. A gorgeous day for two gorgeous people, both inside and out. So thrilled that we could have enjoyed each special moment!

Spring has Sprung at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden

Spring is in the air and we absolutely cannot wait! As the weather is warming, we can’t help but to reminisce on Andy and Don’s gorgeous spring wedding. Their love was celebrated amidst blooming buds and colorful canopies of florals and blossoming trees. It was a dreamy setting for a dreamy day, found at the one and only Brooklyn Botanic Garden.

For their big day, Andy and Don rocked pink bow ties and matching socks for a touch of playful color. Cat cuff links added whimsy and personality all their own. We love fun details like that! Their loving and intimate ceremony took place in the beautiful garden, and the reception was in the airy and bright atrium. Photographer Diane Stredicke captured every loving glance, every stylish detail, and all of the joy in Andy and Don’s gorgeous celebration!

For these boys, a walk in the garden will never be the same, for it will always remind them of this beautiful day. We loved every colorful and bright moment!

Playful Love at Greenpoint Loft

If there were a couple to bring joy and laughter to all, it would be Jessica + Danny. That’s why we were beyond thrilled to be supporting and witnessing all of the beautiful moments, alongside Sasithon Photography who caught it all on camera. Greenpoint Loft is such a versatile space, yet provides so much charm and character to an event. And it proved to be the perfect location for Jessica + Danny’s big day.

Full of fun-loving charm and an adoration for each other, this couple shared a beautiful ceremony and incredibly fun reception. Their personality oozed through the sweet touches. They even choreographed their first dance for an awesome illustration of their fun spirit. It was a moment all guests will forever remember.

Playful Love atworked their floral magic by providing understated yet cheery flowers and table arrangements. And Delaney BBQ cooked up some delicious and casual bbq to share with all. To the couple, pie beats out cake, so it was the dessert of choice. Adorable vintage bride and groom cake toppers added that personal touch that we love so much. There was dancing and merriment and fun abound. A perfect day for this incredible couple!

Heating Things Up in Miami

Destination weddings are always one-of-a-kind, and we were so inspired and thrilled to be a part of Natalie + Sean’s romantic day in Miami. This past December, as the weather was cooling down here in New York, we were more than happy to head south to heat things up. So, alongside old friends and new, we made some wedding magic come to life, Miami style.

In a private estate set amongst lush greenery and oozing with old-world charm, Natalie + Sean made their promises of forever. Chellise Micheal Photography came along for the ride, to capture all the beauty and spirit of the big day.

Part of what we love about a destination wedding is making new industry connections and stepping outside of what we know back at home. And in Miami, there is a plethora of fabulously talented people celebrating love and marriage. Anthology provided wild and inspired floral arrangements, which sat atop Unearthed Vintage’s rustic farmhouse tables. Other specialty rentals from Unearthed Vintage, such as the industrial seating and chippy wood furnishings added charm to the old-world feel of the space. And that cake! Earth + Sugar nailed it with a modern and simplistic look that tied into the setting beautifully. Simple exotic flowers took it to the next level.

With detailed and colorful tile work, vivid spaces, elaborate iron details, and architectural elements to thrill, every space within the grounds was inspiring and simply gorgeous. It was the perfect place for Natalie + Sean’s big day! Top off an on-point location with great music, rich design, delicious food and the warmth of the Miami spirit, and you’ve got the recipe for a beautiful night of romance and fun!

Old Hollywood On the Hudson

The glamour and timeless beauty of the old Hollywood era. The breathtaking wonder of gorgeous views on New York’s Hudson River. Those elements came together for Sulome and Jeremy’s wedding day in a way that was genuine and romantic, just like the couple.

On a private estate overlooking the Hudson, Sulome and Jeremy held an intimate ceremony and joyous evening. Chellise Michael Photography shot each and every glamorous detail in their one-of-a-kind style.

Wild and romantic florals in dusty neutrals and rich greens filled the ceremony space and tables. While vintage decor with a touch of elegant style and Art Deco flair helped set the mood.  Colorful glassware and silverware, eclectic rugs, and warm mixed furnishings all made the night more glamorous and gorgeous! A delicate and stylish bar cart, decked out with vintage decanters and wild florals was a highlight of the decor!

The tent was sweeping and dramatic with ornate chandeliers providing romantic mood lighting under which all danced the night away! Fig + Pig provided a fine dining experience and Madison Lee Cakes created an art deco masterpiece that was both delicious and suited the design impeccably! All of the details of the day combined to create a one-of-a-kind event that suited the couple perfectly. We were thrilled to be a part of it all!

Rooftop Romance at Rockefeller Center

Like all special weddings, Julie + Shawn’s big day was one for the books. The fabulous couple were married at the 620 Loft + Garden, located at the Rockefeller Center. The ceremony took place in the rooftop’s perfectly manicured historic garden, with extraordinary views of Fifth Avenue and St. Patrick’s Cathedral as the iconic NYC backdrop. We love a NYC view, and it doesn’t get much better than this.

For the ceremony, Mimosa Design Studio created a gorgeous chuppah, complete with bright blooms and vivid fall leaves. The reception was held inside the magnificent 620 Loft, a blank canvas of white walls and bright windows. It was the perfect space to create a dreamy ambiance with romantic blooms of reds and creams, warm gold highlights and candlelight filling the space. The most beautiful decor.  Brklyn View Photography was there to capture every gorgeous moment, and with a garden venue like that, every corner was lush and full of NYC views that took your breath away.

After a fabulously delicious meal and fun times on the dance floor, a simple white frosted cake adorned with full rose buds made for a perfect end to the evening. And personal size ice cream cones and cookies added a little tasty treat for their guests. It was a night full of romance atop one of New York’s most iconic rooftop. Views, and blooms, and love abound.
