Jove Meyer OWNER/CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Jove Meyer, founder and principal of Jove Meyer Events, hails from a small beach town in southern California. He made his way to New York City to attend Columbia University, but rather than pursuing a law degree he instead followed his passions for design, details and planning.
Jove and his team specialize in creating personalized weddings that are a reflection of each couple's unique style, personality and relationship. He believes in a relaxed approach when guiding the planning and design process, creating a fun and stress-free experience. Jove Meyer Events is known for collaborating with some of the best vendors around to create fresh, beautiful and one of a kind events.
Jove Meyer Events was born after Jove planned and designed his best friend's wedding in the summer of 2008 and loved every minute of it. In the years since, The Knot has called him a Wedding Wizard and listed him as one of the top 100 wedding pros! He has also won the Couples Choice Award from WeddingWire year after year. Jove’s work has been featured in magazines and blogs worldwide: Vogue, Martha Stewart Weddings, Brides, Refinery29, Marie Claire, Style Me Pretty, 100 Layer Cake, Ruffled and many more.
Jove Meyer is the host of the popular podcast Weddings-ish with Jove! He is the creator of the “Totes Getting Married” tote bag and the founder of the NYC Planners Dining Club. In addition to planning and designing, Jove has spoken at events throughout the country, most recently at AmericasMart Design week in Atlanta.
Jove is a passionate advocate for marriage equality. He co-taught the first LGBT wedding webinar in partnership with The Knot and spoke about the truths of gay marriage and working with same sex couples at The Knot Workshops in Atlantic City NJ, Washington D.C, Scottsdale AZ, Maui HI, Hollywood CA, Minneapolis MN and Savannah GA. Jove donates a portion of his tote bag proceeds to support this cause.

Erin is a creative soul and a sucker for a killer romance! She has a varied background in the Interior Design industry, and therefore believes strongly in the power of small details and big moments.
Working in event planning and design beautifully combines her passion for magical spaces, unique visual elements, and pulling together all of the details!
Having recently been married herself, Erin understands the importance of capturing those special moments and the art of creating an experience that is true to you. One of the greatest aspects of her job is getting to know the unique nuances of your love and relationship as a couple and discovering the best ways to reflect that on your special day! She can’t wait to help tell your love story!
Amber Johansen Administrative coordinator
Amber was born in Phoenix, AZ and raised in Olympia, WA. She is a free-spirit with a heavy dose of wanderlust. A born organizer with a penchant for baking, vintage clothes, live music and anything that came out of the 70s.
In her spare time she also enjoys making jewelry and cuddling with her giant fluffball of a cat Dexter. She decided at a young age that she wanted to experience as many places and things as she could before she settled down.
This journey has taken her around the Globe and is far from being over! The world is vast and there are endless beautiful things to see. Who knows if she'll ever settle down...
