Valentine's Day Romance at 501 Union
When you’re in the industry of love, you go big on Valentine’s Day. How can you not? So we were thrilled when Allison + Beth Anne wanted to celebrate their love in a big way, on Valentine’s Day! The couple leaned into the Valentine’s theme in such a beautiful way. Romantic blooms of red, pink and white, gorgeously crafted by Quatre C’oeur, were found in the bouquets and throughout 501 Union’s distinct space. Gold finishes further added a timeless aesthetic to the charming day. Playful arrow and heart motifs were found in all the details, from the menus and escort cards, to the cake and bar decor. And vintage Valentine’s Day postcards even served as table numbers. We adore personal design details such as these.
After a heartfelt ceremony within 501 Union’s atrium, guests enjoyed cocktails and first dances, followed by a delicious and seasonal family style meal by Fig & Pig. Later, dancing began again and continued into the night. When they weren’t dancing, guests enjoyed classic Valentine’s Day sweets, including red velvet cake, heart candy, chocolate-covered strawberries, and Mexican hot chocolate from Ample Hills Creamery, the couple’s favorite ice cream shop. With a cold winter chill in the air, hot cocoa with homemade marshmallows served as the perfect parting gift to guests. The couple provided red travel mugs with their wedding logo on it to guests as they dashed into the night. It was the perfect personal touch to end the evening.
