BK Brilliance at The Wythe

Shelby and Matteo’s love story is found on the streets of Brooklyn. They consider this special place their home, so when they got engaged they knew it was where they wanted to celebrate. From the venue to the flowers, the great Sasithon Photography of the Wedding Artists Collective and specialty rentals from Patina, all the details and vendors were local to Brooklyn.

It all started with the venue. Living in the neighborhood, they were immediately drawn to The Wythe and all its charm. What better place to celebrate, than the special place where you share your love?

They are such an amazing couple and we were thankful to be involved in all the gorgeous details. Lounges both inside and out brought a bit of their style into the space, his more modern and hers a bit softer. And with Patina Rentals’ touch, the Wythe’s character and charm was even more beautiful. Sprout provided gorgeous florals with white neutral flowers and abundant greenery. The botanical beauty offset the metallic pops and dramatic black furnishings.

Beyond the beauty of the day, the food was so fun that we can’t stop dreaming about the delicious treats. From start to finish, guests were delighted at the bite size options. A full spread of meats and cheeses, seafood and oysters started off the evening during cocktail hour. The small bites continued for the mains. With options like beef or lobster sliders, meatballs and sandwiches, these passed bites fulfilled every craving. And it continued into dessert, the couple deciding to forego the traditional wedding cake. A cocktail style party was the perfect way to achieve a night of high energy fun, filled with dancing and love!

It was important for Shelby + Matteo’s big day to be surrounded by the talent and character of Brooklyn’s finest, and we were thrilled to be considered among them.

Let the Romance Continue at Pioneer Works

Pioneer Works is a venue known for its creative atmosphere and inspired events, and after the fabulous welcome dinner at the Whitney Museum it was the perfect location to continue T+S’ artistic and inspired weekend. A gorgeous ceremony and intimate cocktail hour kicked off the beautiful night. And every beautiful moment was captured by Redfield Photography so as not to forget a second!

After the ceremony and cocktail hour, the fabulous affair continued amidst the gorgeous brick walls of the creative space. Designs by Ahn thrilled us with their captivating floral designs, yet again. Vibrant red hues in the bouquet and ceremony arch created a romantic tone that continued throughout the night. Rich green moss and layered candlelight lined the wooden tables of the reception, while pops of greenery throughout the space added the perfect touch.

The night was an absolute culinary delight. During cocktail hour, guests were treated with fresh lobster rolls from Luke’s Lobster food truck. So delish! Later in the evening, Roberta’s Pizza provided a family style feast that brought everyone closer together. Momofuku Milk Bar then wowed with a six-tier funfetti masterpiece. And Coolhaus ice cream truck gave those late night party animals a sweet treat to cap off the evening.

Starling on Bond provided a neon heart that was a focal point of fun and starred in the neon dance party. It was such an incredible night of love! We were thrilled to be a part of their gorgeous weekend, from start to finish!

A Fresh Fall Look at the Green Building

Lauren and Robert wanted their special celebration to be filled with inviting style and a sweet and romantic aesthetic. Pink was a strong element throughout the entire design, adding a fresh look to this fall wedding. From the bridesmaids’ dresses, romantic flowers, even a classic convertible that drove them to their reception, pink reigned supreme and we loved it!

Rebecca Shepherd’s florals paired the soft pinks, fresh neutrals and deep purples perfectly for a look full of depth and romance. Patina Rental’s Color Condition finished off the look with its added dramatic flair. And with this fresh take on autumn hues, fall has never looked so good!

Real Food Catering provided refreshing drinks and delicious food for a casual cocktail hour in the gorgeous courtyard of The Green Building. The night continued under elegant chandeliers and the dynamic Color Condition for dinner and dancing into the night.

Delicious food, romantic flowers, and a love worthy of a lifetime of celebration made for a fabulous day! Lauren and Rob, thank you for including us in your special moment! And a BIG thanks to Sasithon Photography of the Wedding Artist Collective for capturing all the sweet details!

Beauty in the Unexpected at Liberty Warehouse

We love creating unexpected and exciting new styles for our weddings, and couldn’t have been happier with the way Alex and Gaby’s came to life. The couple wanted a style that was visually interesting and incredibly lush, yet modern and clean at the same time. In terms of atmosphere, they were looking for a black tie affair with a casual and relaxed vibe. Looking sharp and feeling at home with their family and friends, Alex and Gaby’s big day was the perfect balance between the unexpected, while remaining classic and sophisticated.

This clean design of the space allowed the florals and natural details to shine, and shine they did. Putnam & Putnam created gorgeous vignettes of cacti and desert accents that paired uniquely with the lush florals. It was an unexpected pairing that we fell in love with. Inspired by a particularly gorgeous set of tiles, Julia Bez brought our stationary designs to life with hand-done calligraphy for the menus and escort cards, thrilling the couple and guests alike. The pairing of these distinct design elements resulted in a one-of-a-kind design scheme that we were thrilled about. A big thanks to photographer, Tim Ryan Smith for capturing it all so well!

Alex and his groomsmen looked sharp in black tuxedos, while Gaby’s girls let their spirits shine in bright colors and styles suited for each lady. And Gaby was stunning in a seamless gown with a fantastic silhouette. Lace details on her gorgeous veil added a touch of romance to her overall look. Just perfect!

The couple danced the night away and kept the party going with their fabulously fun after party at the Red Hook Winery. We loved the romantic touches and moments that were uniquely them as a couple and were thrilled to see the unique design come together so well.

A Refined Love at 501 Union

Every wedding is a celebration of the love and life between two people. And every love is as unique and genuine as the couple themselves. Andrew and Jonathan’s big day was no different. It was a day of devotion. Of beauty and style, drama and sophistication. Stolen kisses and wild dance moves. Good drinks, good people, great fun!

501 Union’s swanky and sophisticated ambiance was the perfect setting for Andrew and Jonathan’s stylish wedding. And Katie Osgood Photography was there to capture all the fabulous details.

Mimosa Floral killed it with the flowers with a dramatic ceremony backdrop and lush table centerpieces. Paired with dark foliage, long blooms cascaded and provided rich coloring and vibrancy to the design. Their distinctive style was showcased with their unique take on florals.

Even the menu and place settings were thoughtfully curated, taking on a more modern aesthetic to make their mark on the evening. Personalized name plates for each guest added a sophisticated personal touch. With all of these details, paired with the dark furnishings and dramatic lighting, the design was implemented beautifully!

Their marble and copper styled wedding cake, the beautiful creation of Madison Lee's Cakes, was a showstopper. Truly a work of art. And their other desserts were some of NYC’s finest. Including cookies from Levain Bakery, pudding from Magnolia Bakery, and Doughnut Plant donuts. Some of our favorite things!

Despite the gray skies, their love shone brightly! And we were thrilled to be a part of it all.

Botanic Beauty at The Wythe

Maggie and Paul’s big day was full of classic romantic touches and beautiful ambiance. Every detail was curated and thoughtful for absolute perfection. In a beautiful location with some fabulous vendor collaborations, including Mel Barlow doing photography, the couple couldn’t go wrong. They started their day at the Wythe Hotel, getting ready in a beautiful suite and sharing their first look overlooking the city. It doesn’t get more romantic than that!

The Wythe’s gorgeous spaces added to the curated feel of the couple’s day. Inside was romantic and warm and outside was eclectic and fun. The perfect Brooklyn feel. Poppies and Posies re-imagined the space with gorgeous greenery and romantic buds throughout. The guests were welcomed with lush foliage that mirrored the ceremonial arch. A stunning backdrop for those romantic vows. At the tables, cascading eucalyptus and giant blooms rich in color, added elegance. Inside, the bar was transformed with more abundant greens and vibrant blooms. The perfect touch of organic romance to help set the tone.

Patina Rentals helped set the stage with luxury lounges both inside and out. In the outdoor cocktail space, a brilliant blue sofa and eclectic chairs added flair. The inside lounge was far more neutral, which was perfect against the brick walls and added to the romantic ambiance of the evening.

It was a fabulously fun and gorgeous evening in the heart of Brooklyn. What better way to celebrate Maggie and Paul’s beautiful love!

Flashy and Fun at Brooklyn Bridge Park

Candice + Edouard are a one of a kind couple with a one of a kind style. From our very first meeting, we knew that their big day would be full of flair and special surprises. On the big day, Edouard rocked his look with a bright blue suit and flashy details, such as his music-inspired cuff-links and rockin’ pinky ring. A yellow bow-tie completed the fun look and color-scheme. Candice looked timeless with classic jewelry and a divine dress. A yellow bouquet and fabulous blue heels topped off the look. And the great Amber Gress was there to capture all the colorful and bright style!

After their intimate ceremony at Pebble Beach in Brooklyn Bridge Park, the bride surprised her new husband with a vintage Ford truck to travel to the reception site in style. We imagine nothing felt better than riding away as newlyweds, headed to an evening of romance and celebration with friends and family.

Once all the guests arrived at the Greenpoint Loft, they were welcomed to a space full of industrial charm and colorful accents that were true to Candice + Edouard’s taste. Paper planes with various country’s flags served as a fun escort card set up. On the tables, yellow florals by Metropolitan Plant Exchange were both sweet and vibrant and set the tone for the celebratory mood. And Fig + Pig killed it with a fabulous meat and cheese station to start, and a delicious family-style meal. The couple even had a personal cigar roller on-site to provide a special and unique gift to their guests. Such a fun idea!

Music was a huge part of the evening. As a musician himself, the groom jumped in front of the mic throughout the night, and truly made a lasting impression when he sang and played the father - daughter dance song. It was a beautiful moment that no one is soon to forget.

More than anything, Candice + Edouard wanted their guests to feel at home and welcome to enjoy and celebrate. Delicious food, flowing cocktails and special touches made that possible. What a fabulous night it was!

Spring has Sprung at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden

Spring is in the air and we absolutely cannot wait! As the weather is warming, we can’t help but to reminisce on Andy and Don’s gorgeous spring wedding. Their love was celebrated amidst blooming buds and colorful canopies of florals and blossoming trees. It was a dreamy setting for a dreamy day, found at the one and only Brooklyn Botanic Garden.

For their big day, Andy and Don rocked pink bow ties and matching socks for a touch of playful color. Cat cuff links added whimsy and personality all their own. We love fun details like that! Their loving and intimate ceremony took place in the beautiful garden, and the reception was in the airy and bright atrium. Photographer Diane Stredicke captured every loving glance, every stylish detail, and all of the joy in Andy and Don’s gorgeous celebration!

For these boys, a walk in the garden will never be the same, for it will always remind them of this beautiful day. We loved every colorful and bright moment!

Playful Love at Greenpoint Loft

If there were a couple to bring joy and laughter to all, it would be Jessica + Danny. That’s why we were beyond thrilled to be supporting and witnessing all of the beautiful moments, alongside Sasithon Photography who caught it all on camera. Greenpoint Loft is such a versatile space, yet provides so much charm and character to an event. And it proved to be the perfect location for Jessica + Danny’s big day.

Full of fun-loving charm and an adoration for each other, this couple shared a beautiful ceremony and incredibly fun reception. Their personality oozed through the sweet touches. They even choreographed their first dance for an awesome illustration of their fun spirit. It was a moment all guests will forever remember.

Playful Love atworked their floral magic by providing understated yet cheery flowers and table arrangements. And Delaney BBQ cooked up some delicious and casual bbq to share with all. To the couple, pie beats out cake, so it was the dessert of choice. Adorable vintage bride and groom cake toppers added that personal touch that we love so much. There was dancing and merriment and fun abound. A perfect day for this incredible couple!

A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Green Building

When it comes to events we love being inspired by the greats! In this case, the master of love and poetry himself, William Shakespeare and A Midsummer Night's Dream.  Alex and Nancy wanted a wedding that was inspired and romantic, and we worked to make their wedding dreams come true.  They loved the warmth and character found in the bricks and beams of the Green Building.  It was the perfect location for us to build upon the natural charm in order to create a day inspired by the romance and mysticism of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Magic and romance, cupid and fairies, and mystical gardens of abundance reigned in this inspired design.  A story on the nature of love, it is a fitting theme for a beautiful couple and their blossoming life together.

The theme of A Midsummer Night’s Dream was largely illustrated in the floral design.  We partnered with Mimosa Florals to dream up a design that was both abundant and garden-like.  Alex and Nancy said “I do” in front of a gorgeous backdrop of lush plants, wild greenery with soft tendrils floating down, and romantic florals in a range of pinks, reds, and maroons.  This vibe continued in the main space with green tendrils on the tables and hanging down throughout, along with dreamy florals brightening each table.  Real Food Catering delivered tasty treats and a delicious meal to please all the senses.

Captured by Emma Cleary Photography, it was a gorgeous night where true romance blossomed.  Glad to have experienced it all!

Sophisticated Tropical Vibes at 501 Union

Modern accents full of sophistication. Sweet florals that are simple yet elegant.  Touches of tropical pops to provide the unexpected and whimsical.  Emily and Karl wanted all of this and more to highlight their special day and we were thrilled to design and execute it all!

Captured by photographer Elvira Kalviste, Emily and Karl’s day was filled with details and gorgeous delights full of character and fun.  For their ceremony, they wanted something over the top but not overdone.  We loved the concept of hanging white tulips to create the perfect embellishment.  Mimosa Florals executed the look perfectly! Each tulip added so much to the already charming garden space at 501 Union.

Playing off of the modern and art deco vibe of 501, we knew the tropical leaves would be the perfect touch of wild and untamed character and they stood out as the centerpiece of each table in the main room.  Smaller white floral collections in golden vases added some sweet modern charm.  Additionally, every table was labeled by a location that holds a place in Emily and Karl's hearts.  The perfect personal touch!

A modern floral design characterized by gold embellishes, simple and sleek white flowers, and a stunning hanging tulip ceremony installation, it's what highly curated and sophisticated wedding dreams are made of!  It was the kind of day that stays with you.  The images and beauty of the space and design mirrored the love of the couple.  What a fabulously gorgeous day!

Colorful and Bright at the Brooklyn Winery

We love the design aspect of a wedding, so when Meryl and Jesse came to us with a colorful and bright vision in mind, we partnered with our friends in the industry and ran with it!  On their big day, the Brooklyn Winery served as the perfect backdrop, warm and organic and full of Brooklyn charm.  The colorful and whimsical garden vibe of the design went perfectly with the setting.

The highlight of the design was the gorgeous flower wall, brought to life by our friends at Saipua.  The wall served as the backdrop of the ceremony and the focal point of the entire day.  Beautiful greenery paired with the warm hues of red, pink, orange and yellow in the florals.   The flowers on each table were whimsical, each table setting unique with its own personality and color.  The greenery was overgrown and abundant, giving a garden-like atmosphere that paired perfectly with the wooden plant wall within the winery.  The entire color scheme was bright and fun!

Modern cubes in a deep purple on each table indicated table numbers.  And each place mat was colorful and bright with a stylized floral detail that was both modern and whimsical.  We loved working with Fourteen-Forty to create all of the personalized and handmade paper details including the place card place mats!&n
