Wythe Hotel Wedding

Jarrod and Eugenie planned such a beautiful Brooklyn wedding with so many awesome personal touches and we were honored to be a part of their special day! The couple was married at St. Charles of Borromeo in Brooklyn Heights where they then roamed around and took gorgeous portraits with the talented photographer Inbal Sivan! Post ceremony guests enjoyed a boat ride on the East River Ferry to Williamsburg and the weather could not have been more perfect! Once guests arrived at the Wythe Hotel we enjoyed cocktails outside in the courtyard while guests searched for their hand folded traditional Korean garment origami escort cards! The food was delicious, the toasts were heartfelt, the dancing was energetic, the wedding was simply wonderful.

Wythe Hotel Fall Shoot

Simple elegance, that was the focus of this beautiful Brooklyn styled shoot we planned and designed at the chic Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg, Brooklyn captured through the lens of the ever so talented talented Landon Jacob Photography. We worked together to embrace the beauties of fall without choosing the obvious pumpkin and fall foliage. Instead we added our own twist to the shoot with fresh local, seasonal fruits on the cake and included in the centerpieces and florals made by the incredible 2H flowers. The pomegranate really stood out in this shoot as our version of fall, its unique shape and beautiful colors blended well with the natural look we were aiming to achieve.

Rather than using traditional paper products for stationery we went with a more nature inspired look. The name cards were hand written on wood chunks and the menus were printed on cloth by the talented Fourteen-Forty.We added rosemary sprigs for a nice accent on the eye and nose!

The delectable and eye catching sweets were made by the talented pastry chef Erin Kanagy-Loux of Reynard at Wythe Hotel. When thinking about the wedding cake we really wanted to try something unique and fruit heavy so we took a naked cake and added our own twist to it, Erin used the frosting between layers to add an amazing texture that makes the cake come to life!

There were so many gorgeous wedding gowns by Winifred Bean paired with amazing hand made accessories by Hushed Commotion, fabulous shoes by Chromatic Gallerie and perfect makeup by Sally Duvall and hair by Styles on B!

We were so happy to have Valerie Barnes on board to make this stunning video!

Open House at the Green Building

Wednesday nights open house at The Green Building was so much fun! It was so nice to meet so many happy soon-to -be married couples! The Green Buildings updated event space is beautiful with more natural light and a stunning outdoor space including romantic hanging lights and a garden. We were delighted to be one of the featured vendors for the night, other vendors included Sugartown IndustriesNaturally DeliciousCustom Weddings by Jim, FLRL Design Co. and the talented photographer Max Flatow Photography!

Our table was styled with a few of our favorite vintage items such as our typewriter, camera, jewelry box and clock! The flowers were simple yet fun! We created a mix and match of various sized arrangements and displayed some additional flowers throughout the table. All couples went home with hand stamped goodies bags filled with salt water taffy!

501 Union Open House #2

It was such a delight to be a part of the second open house at 501 Union recently! The beautiful event space based in Gowanus Brooklyn is nearly complete with only a few finishing touches left to go. We are thrilled to be one of their vendor partners and offer couples wedding planning and designing for their big days!

Our table was so much fun to design, we sourced vintage decor items including a camera and typewriter and also also spelled out I <3 U with salt water taffy, since love is so sweet :)

The space has come a long way in the past few months and at the open house they unveiled their new farm table which is stunningly chic and modern! The custom made chandeliers looked amazing as the sun began to set.

Summer Brooklyn Garden Wedding !

I was delighted to be a part of this lovely Brooklyn based and inspired wedding! The couple was so hands on and worked to personalize their wedding in so many ways! From creating the custom graphics to making the terrariums (with some plants grown by family members) they really went above and beyond to add their personalities and personal touches! They got ready at the Fabulous Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

The ceremony took place in the beautiful garden at Flatbush Farm, filled with tons of exposed brick, lovely ivy and dangling lights it was the perfect place for this couples wedding! The father of the bride built the chuppah giving it such personal value, they were literally married under a chuppah built by love and family!

Dinner was served al fresco in the same garden as the ceremony! We could not have asked for a more beautiful night, the weather was perfect and the food was simply delicious! On the menu was an assortment of salads and greens and a duck that melted in your mouth! The food and service were really incredible! It was served family style and was all organic and sourced or grown locally!

The evening continued with some fun dancing and a dessert bar that could not be forgotten! Flatbush Farm made the largest panna cotta I have ever seen, it was accompanied by a freshly baked cookie bar! The guests left the wedding with cookbooks filled with family recipes, such a great touch! Lindsay + Julian really thought of it all and found so many ways to make this wedding a reflection of them! I was honored to be a part of their big day :)
